Adire business as well as the entertainment industry will receive boost again as the foremost Fashion show in Ogun state, Ogun Adire Fashion show sets to hold the third edition of its Miss Adire International and the 5th Edition of Ogun Adire Fashion Show.
This year’s edition, according to The organiser of the event, Adeyemi Heritage promises to be exhilarating with load prizes awaiting whoever emerge winners of the show.
The show is billed to hold on 28th of August, 2022.
Adeyemi while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital disclosed that his sole aim and desire is to support the state government boost the economy through promotion of local fabrics.
His words “We want to promote our African made fabrics Adire Internationally through the help of creative contents on social media, cables and radio promotions to create more awareness on the uses of Adire different from just making outfits out of it.
He also wants to “Revive Adire Fashion and styles into our recent fashion trends through showcasing different styles and designs made with Adire during our past and coming editions of Ogun Adire Fashion Show.
“We believe if we passed this knowledge to others, more lives will be impacted through our Adire Making & design training alongside with experienced Fashion designers to enhance their skills. About 500 youths or more in Ogun state will be participating within now and 2024.
Adeyemi hinted that the show will offer one year skills acquisition in fashion designing, make-up, spa and wellness, Adire Making,hair Styling and music production worth of N500 thousand to participants.
He stated that winners stand the chance of wining one year ambassadorship deal with two different brands and work with ogun state ministry of culture and tourism.
