The Chairman of the Joint National Public Service Negotiating Council (JNPSNC), Comrade Isa Olude, says the council would be ready to work and support the administration of the newly elected Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Ogun, Comrade Hameed Benco-Ademola.
Olude, in a message he personally signed on Thursday in Abeokuta, congratulated the new NLC chairman.
He said that the JNC would support in the struggle towards total emancipation of Labour movement in the State without going out of the tenets of the rule of law and precincts of the rule of engagement.
Olude described Benco-Ademola as a quintessential unionist; saying, it would be a pride to work with him with a mandate to further deliver greater hope for Ogun workers.
“Your election as the State Chairman of the NLC has further attested to your leadership prowess. You have continued to show passion for service despite the challenges intertwined in this kind of assignment.
“Although unionism in Ogun State comes with great responsibilities, we have no doubt that you will deliver in your new assignment. You have shown capacity, competence, and courage over time as a team player in JNC.
“This elevation is no doubt, well deserved. We have seen your passion and commitment to the cause of workers in the state. You speak their minds and advance their struggle. You are a worthy leader of the people. Yours is a quality representation that goes with courage, integrity, and consistency. Luckily, these are qualities you exude with candour.
“We pray God to grant you wisdom and understanding in your new assignment. Congratulations.” The Chairman Said.
