Ogun commissioner sues for peace, canvasses votes for Gov. Abiodun

Ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial elections, the Ogun State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo has enjoined members of staff of the Ministry to embrace peace and good neighborliness; shun any activities that could be inimical to peaceful co-existence in the society.

Oladapo disclosed this during the monthly interface with the staff held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, saying it was important to always be conscious of one’s prospects and therefore not engage in violence before, during and after the elections.

Sge emphasized that the performance of the civic right by the electorate including the State Workforce could only be done with their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) and voting for progressive candidates, including the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who has been exemplify credible traits of leadership through his lofty achievements since assumption of office.

She further described the assemblage of the APC Candidates for the coming election in the State as a team with ideas of leadership in terms of boldness, courage and understanding to discharge duties for positive results, therefore sustaining the developmental tempo in the State.

According to her, ” as a team with progressive mindset, it is important for us to celebrate ourselves while we are still alive, hence, I want to charge us all to maintain peace and orderliness during this election period. Please ensure you all go out en masse at the forthcoming governorship election in the State and vote, it goes beyond just having a Permanent Voters Card”, she stated.
