The Ogun House of Assembly on Monday screened three additional commissioner nominees sent to them by Gov. Dapo Abiodun.
Mr Olakunle Oluomo, the Speaker , led other members of the assembly to screen the nominees at the assembly complex in
Abeokuta.
The Assembly had earlier screened and confirmed 17 commissioner nominees who are yet to be sworn-in by the governor.
The three commissioner-nominees screened are Olatunji Odunlami, former Commissioner in the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development and Wasiu Isiaka , former Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Ogun Internally Generated Revenue.
Also Mrs Funmi Efuwape, immediate past Commissioner in the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
The lawmakers in their various contributions, urged the nominees to look inward and design plans and programmes that would have positive effect on the people of the state.
They charged the nominees to always redoubled their efforts by always assisting the state governor
In ensuring dividend of democracy cuts across all nooks and crannies of the state.
The Speaker enjoined them to always remain committed to quality service, avoid any form of influence that could impede the progress and development of the State if confirmed by the Assembly.
In their responses, the nominees promised to consolidate on their achievements during the first term.
They assured that they would continue to synergise with the State legislature and other relevant stakeholders to render development driven policies and programmes for the development of the state.
