The Special Assistant on Media to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Kehinde Akinyemi has taken a swipe at the publication made by Mao Ohuabunwa, which credited the former President to have endorsed a Southeast candidate for the 2023 President in Nigeria.
Akinyemi in a reaction to the story on Saturday, noted that , if that was the way the Presidential aspirant wanted to approach his a ambition, such was a wrong way.
The Media aide who claimed that he was with the duo during the visit, declared that Ohuabunwa put words into his boss mouth by the publication.
According to Akinyemi: “He came here and the former President received him as a gentleman and in the spirit of 85th birthday celebrations only for him to go and put words into his mouth.
“Baba is not that sort of man and if that is the way he wants to fulfill his ambition that is a wrong way,” he said.
