Sen. Solomon Adeola (APC-Ogun West) has distributed 20,000 bags of rice, hampers, cash grants and various quantities of provisions
to various Muslim organizations and mosques for their members during the Ramadan.
Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Adeola , disclosed this in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Monday.
According to the statement, individuals will also benefit from the gesture for breaking of fast like sugar, beverages and other items.
Odunaro explained that the distribution of such gifts at festive and unique periods remained a tradition that the senator had kept over the years as a legislator as part of his representative functions and in fulfilment of religious doctrines of sharing and giving.
The senator facilitated Muslims at the commencement of fasting eight days ago while calling on them for prayers for the nation and the leadership as part of the fasting exercise.
