It was double joy for the Pelican Valley Management team and satff on Sunday as they got yet another well deserved recognitions.
While the Brand Ambassador of Pelican Valley Estate and Pelican Brief Estate, Mr. Kayode Sehinde, popularly known as Pa James, received generous N500k free donation for living a life of honour and integrity, the company; Pelican Valley Nigeria Ltd, where Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo is the CEO, clinched an Excellence Award, making the latest, the 10th of such laurrels to be won this year.
The Managing Director and CEO of Adams Group of Companies, Engr. Kayode Adamolekun made the half a million naira donation to Pa James, aptly described as one of the nation’s intellectual banks.
The event was held at Spices Abeokuta, the state capital.
Earlier, a youth based organisation; Patriotic Youth Ambassadors of Nigeria(PYAN) bestowed on Dr. Adeyemo; adjudged as the ‘Poster Boy of Real Estate’ in the Gateway State, the ‘Icon of Humanity of The Year 2022 Award.’
The Icon award was presented to him two Mondays ago in his corporate office Abeokuta by the PYAN executives – Amb. Omobolaji Sanni(National President), Olaleye Abiodun(Secretary), Sadiq Hameed (Director of Organisation), Popoola Ibrahim(Social Secretary) and Ibrahim Adunola(Director of Gender).
Commenting on the latest award, elated Adeyemo said, “Our company got another award of excellence on Sunday, but the award wasn’t the news because it was the 10th our company had received in the last eight weeks. The news was the generous donation of half a million naira (N500,000) by a good Samaritan to my brand Ambassador, Mr. Kayode Sehinde, popularly know as Pa James.
“Mr Sehinde only joined me to receive the award yesterday on behalf of the entire Management and staff of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited. We want to say a big thank you to the donor, MD CEO Adams Group of Companies, Engr. Kayode Adamolekun, for his thoughtfulness and support towards preserving one of the nation’s finest intellectual banks in this era of frivolities and poor reward system in the Nation.”
