In continuation of his ward to ward campaign across Ogun State, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate in Ogun State, Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu led his campaign trail to Obafemi Owode LGA where he donated 3 units of 500KVA transformers and promised another 10 additional units of transformers if voted in as Governor.
The campaign train first had a stop at Mowe market, where Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu met and addressed Iyalojas, Baale’s, Youths, Students and representatives of various associations which include; Hairdressers association, Muslim community, Christian associations, Tailor’s association, e.t.c.
In his address, Ladi Adebutu promised to create empowerment programmes for all, give support for education and business growth if elected as Governor.
He also assured to solve the security issues affecting affecting the LGA by giving security personnel’s adequate support and incentives; he also assured provision of job opportunities for the young and unemployed. Responding, the youths, market women, and representatives of associations declared support and pledged to canvass for Ladi Adebutu and all other PDP candidates.
The campaign train then stopped at Sote community, Obafemi Owode LGA where Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu commissioned one of the three 500KVA transformers to aid the electricity issue being faced in the community. Adebutu also recapitulate his ITURA DE agenda with the community people.
He mentioned the need and advantages of local government autonomy to the economic and socially development of the state and assured the people that all local governments will be granted autonomy under his watch.
The finale of the Obafemi Owode Campaign rally held at Balogun in Owode Egba and it was rounded up at Alowonle, Adigbe and Oba, where another 500KVA transformer was donated by Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu.
The event had in attendance the State Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Sikirulahi Ogundele, the Ogun Central Senatorial Candidate, Chief Olumide Aderinokun, the Federal House of Representatives Candidate, Rt. Hon. Yemi Coker, the State House of Assembly Candidate, Hon. John Tosin, Party Leaders, Stakeholders across the State, amongst others.
