NUJ President, Isiguzo pays condolence visit to late Amosu family

The National President of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Chief Chris Isiguzo on Saturday paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Soji Amosu, the former Chairman, Ogun State Council of NUJ who died in November last year.

Chief Isiguizo who led some national officers of the Union, including the Lagos State Council Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Adeleye Ajayi and the former Ogun State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Wole Shokunbi on a condolence visit to the wife and family of the late former Chairman of Ogun State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists late Comrade Olusoji Amosu at the deceased residence in Abeokuta, described the deceased as peace loving who had played his part very well while alive.

Chief Isiguzo who while commiserating with the family and entire NUJ in Ogun State described Amosu’s death as a great loss to the Union in the State and Nigeria in general.

” He served the Union with all sincerity in various capacities and left a vacuum that will be difficult to be filled by any, but we take solace in the fact that Amosu left very good legacy behind which we his friends will try to build on.

He said his death was very shocking but as humans, nobody can question God and prayed for the soul of Amosu and for God to grant his young family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Responding on behalf of the family one of the Children of the deceased, Olaoluwa Amosu thanked the President and Nigeria Union of Journalists for standing by the family during their trying periods.

He extolled the leadership virtue of National President for finding time out of his busy scheduled to visit the family while assuring that the family will not take the love the Union has for the family for granted.
