The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Ogun State, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo has admonished Nigerians, particularly residents of the State to embrace the path of forging ahead in their respective endeavour for collective growth of the nation as the world ushers in year 2023.
Adeleye in her new year felicitation message, expressed that the start of a new year was also a time for optimism.
According to her, “new year remains the best moment to consider new opportunities, flesh ideas, lofty initiatives and brace up for the miles and challenges ahead; it is the best time to critically reflect on the past and look toward to a brighter future with hope and commitment”.
Pointing out that one of the crucial moments that required better reflections in choice making was the forthcoming general elections, the former two-term State Lawmaker, urged Nigerians to shun politics of bitterness, acts that could truncate the existing peace and tranquility being witnessed in the State throughout the year, especially before, during and after the general elections.
The Commissioner who admonished them to celebrate moderately, implored them to support, canvass and vote enmasse for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Governor Dapo Abiodun and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress.
