presentation of the solar lights by the Council Chairman, Hon. Oyesanya Adetutu Elizabeth to top police officers in the LG led by the Area Commander ACP Muhammed Rabiu, the LG Commander of Amotekun and Balogun Oja of Ijebu Imushin.
Hon. Adetutu Oyesanya, the Chairman, Ijebu East Local Government, has facilitated the provision of solar lights by the state government, through the Ministry of Rural Development to all police stations and two major Amotekun Offices in the council areas.
Presenting the solar lights to the representatives of the security agencies at the council secretariat on Friday, Oyesanya said the council believed in enhancing the security of its environment and also supports security agencies in all ways possible.
She noted that the local government would continue to explore further, the efficient synergy existing between the State Government and the council.
” All the security outposts in Ijebu East LG will now be covered fully with solar lights, thereby providing more conducive environment for the security operatives.
” We also extended the solar light installation to some parts of Ijebu Imushin Market.
” This is the first phase of our Light-Up Ijebu East project, as a component of the Light-Up Ogun Project of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun,” she said.
The LG boss expressed appreciation to the governor Abiodun , Commissioner for Rural Development, Mrs Ilori Oduntan and her team for the gesture.
