Eid-el-fitri: Ayoola salutes Muslims, says Nigeria on path of recovery

The founder of Omooba Obaruwa Foundation and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress from Odogbolu Local Government area of Ogun State, Omooba Adekunle Ayoola, has sent his warm wishes to Muslims on the auspicious occasion of this year Eid-el-fitri celebrations.

Omooba Ayoola in a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday, congratulated Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of this year’s 30-days fast, urging them to continue to allow the teachings of the holy months to serve as their guide in the efforts to build a prosperous Nigeria.

The Poland based international trade expert said that recent happenings is suggesting that the struggling country’s economy is on the path of recovery saying that this is the more reason while both Muslims and Christians must continue to lift up the country and its handlers in prayers.

Omooba Ayoola said “I must use this opportunity to rejoice with our Muslim brothers and sisters who have for the last 30 days been fasting, denying themselves of so many things and making supplications to the Almighty Allah.

“May your prayers be answered. I urge you all to continue imbibing the lessons of Ramadan, let us show love, understanding towards one another, let’s be more purposeful to support our leaders to make our country more prosperous and peaceful.

“Already, things are beginning to look so bright for the country. The economy is showing signs of recovery and all we have to do is to continue to support President Bola Tinubu as he remains confident and committed to renewing hope of Nigerians at all fronts.

“I celebrate with all our Muslim brothers and sisters as we celebrate this year Eid-el-fitri and pray that the Almighty Allah will preserve us all to witness many more years”.
