Cultism: Group cautions youths against killing, calls for peace

Worried about the recent nefarious killing by rival cult groups in Sagamu, a group, Remolanders-Egbe Bobaselu Ti Ile Remo, have called on all youths to shun cultism and its criminal activities for lasting peace and development to reign in the town.

The president of the group, Olaleye Olanrewaju, stated this on Friday during a peaceful campaign and sensitisation walk against cultism.

Olanrewaju said that cultism had became a threat to peace and progress in the society.

He noted that if not stopped , it would not only bring setbacks, but also destroy the hope and aspirations of coming generations.

He appreciated Gov. Dapo Abiodun for his efforts so far in tackling the issue of security in the state.

He described Abiodun’s government as a responsive and responsible one willing to deal with those disturbing the peace of the State.

He called on the people to continue to give massive support to the present government.
