July 28th, 2022, Ogun State PFN witnessed the re-appointment of Apostle David Ahmed Bello Otaru as the Chairman for the second term.
The De la creme individuals were on ground to witness the occasion. The National President of PFN, Bishop Francis Wale Oke was represented by the National Chairman, Inaugural body, Archbishop Ojo. He delivered a short and powerful sermon that centered on leadership and unity.
The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in his words eulogized Ogun State PFN Chairman for his humble act and his style of leadership. Governor Dapo Abiodun was represented by Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, the Secretary to the State Government.
Earlier the Southwest National Vice President, Archbishop John Osa Oni challenged the leadership of the team which is led by Apostle David A. B. Otaru to make sure that the secretariat is completed before he hands over in the next four years.
The inauguration was done by the representative of the National President, Archbishop Ojo supported by Archbishop John Osa Oni, the Southwest PFN National Vice President, and others.
In his acceptance speech, Apostle Otaru charged all officers not to relent in giving their best to God. He solicited support from all to complete the Legacy Secretariat which is the permanent land of Ogun State PFN. He appreciated his predecessor, Bishop Tunde Akin Akinsanya for the good foundation he has laid being an astute administrator and a great strategist.
One of the highlights of the event was the decoration of the State Chairman as the Grand Marshal so safe corps by the State Coordinator, Commander Soji Ganzallo.
Dignitaries at the events includes Head of Blocs in CAN, like Pastor Onakoya, CPFN/PFN, Bishop Elisha Ogundiya, ECWA, Reverend Toyin Kehinde, Secretary, Southwest Zone, State Advisory Council Members led by the first State Chairman, Pastor Isreal Olufela Abatan, the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria Chairman, Ogun State Chapter, Comrade Alhaji Akeem Lasisi, Kabiyesi Benjamin Olanite, Onimeko of Imeko, Soyindo of Isonyindo, Oba Gisanrin and others.
In his vote of thanks, the Chairman Transition/Inauguration Planning Committee, Reverend Dr. Wale Fatolu, appreciated all that witnessed the event and thanked the State Chairman for the privilege to serve.
The next four years of this administration have started and expectations are high from all and sundry.
For record purposes, Apostle Otaru has joined the company of his predecessors who got the privilege of second term ticket like the Late Rev C. T. Tiboyin, and Bishop Reuben Oke during whose tenure as quoted by Archbishop John Osa Oni, Ogun State PFN witnessed a boom.
