Senator Solomon Adeola, (APC, Ogun West), the Chairman , Senate Committee of Appropriations has expressed profound appreciation and joy on the approval granted by the Federal Executive Council, FEC, presided over by President Bola Tinubu for the total rehabilitation of the Abeokuta-Iboro- Ilaro Road.

This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Senator Adeola

The cheery news of the approval for the reconstruction of the critical road in Ogun West Senatorial District linking the state capital, Abeokuta, was made by Senator Dave Umahi, the Minister of Work at the end of the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday.
The awarded contract to Strabic Construction Company is worth N57 billion.

Senator Adeola stated that this is the first time in a long while that such a major Federal Government project is coming to his senatorial district stressing with the proposed Badagry-Sokoto Express Road also passing through the senatorial district, the area is set for desired economic development accompanying the roads construction.

“I want to specifically commend and appreciate our president, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria. The approval of the Abeokuta- Iboro- Ilaro Road is a worthy and major aspect of renewed hope infrastructure policy of the Federal Government. The road will compliment those done by the State Government under Prince Dapo Abiodun like the Ilaro -Owode Road as well as many of the inner roads and bridges completed under my facilitation in the district in the last one year” he stated.

Senator Adeola said the administration of the President Asiwaju and Prince Abiodun will continue to implement the Renewed Hope Agenda of APC adding that he will continue to attract more infrastructural projects as well as empower his constituents across the senatorial district.
