Hon. Kenny Bello , the Ijebu North- Ijebu East- Ogun Waterside House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State , has said that he remained the official candidate of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Bello stated this in an interview with newsmen in Abeokuta that Sunday.
He commended the both the state and the national leadership of the party for its steadfastness in protecting the party’s constitution.
Bello appreciated the state Chairman of the party, Sikirulai Ogundele and the national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu’s leadership of the party.
He described their leadership as being honest, transparent and fair during the just concluded PDP primaries in Ogun state.
He reiterated that he remained the house of representatives candidate of the party in Ijebu North, Ijebu East-Ogun Waterside constituency.
He opined that his primary election was organised by the representative of the party from Abuja and observed by INEC.
” I call on my fellow aspirants to let us unite to secure victory for the party.
“Our team is open to all and we promise that we will run an inclusive campaign and government in the best interest of the people of our constituency,” he said.
Bello appealed to his teeming supporters and members of the PDP to continue to maintain peace, be law abiding and remain focused according to the law.
