“Online registration may eventually lead to Ogun state government unknowingly registering Fulani killers and Boko Haram members!

“We are calling on all well meaning Ogun State citizens to join hands with the government in our collective efforts to secure the state from banditry.

The NNPP chairman hinted that the  party was majorly concerned about the high levels of insecurities in the state.

” It is highly surprising that the government of Ogun state under the leadership of  Abiodun is exhibiting a lukewarm attitude towards a life threatening issues of a sophisticated arms carrying Fulani herders who are daily terrorising innocent people of Yewa land of the state .

“It is very disturbing that in the absence of any help or intervention of Ogun state government, our people have resulted into self help to defend themselves.

“Our concern as a major stakeholder in Ogun state political space is that the lackadaisical attitude of governor Abiodun and his aides may lead to the state of anarchy.

“We hereby call on Gov. Abiodun to put down his toga of lukewarmness and put on the garment of courage by confronting these multiple assaults on Ogun state people all head long,” he said.

He added that the party had issued a 21-day ultimatum to Gov. Abiodun to constitute Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC),  saying failure of which the party would proceed on legal battle.
