Nigeria @60: Achudume urges Nigerians to continue accommodating one another

As Nigeria celebrated its 60th Independence anniversary,  the senior pastor and the founder Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) , Apostle Lawrence Achudume , has called on the citizens to continue to accommodate one another irrespective of religious or tribal differences.

Achudume who spoke to newsmen in Abeokuta in commemoration of the Independence Day Anniversary , noted that it was important as a citizen to be patriotic and always work for unity.

The religious leader pointed out that despite the challenges confronting the country,  divine guidance had kept the citizens strong and united.

He explained that the current situation affecting the country was insurmountable if the citizens continue to praise God and seek his divine intervention.

He frowned at the level of corruption in the society,  saying that a leader must lead well so that followers could  follow suit.

Achudume commended the contribution of the youths to nation building while charging them to continue to make meaningful contributions to national growth and development.

He expressed concern over the rate of kidnapping,  banditry,  insurgency among others,  calling on government to make security apparatus function effectively.
He called for intensified prayers for the nation,  saying those calling for the break up of the country to jettison such negative thought.
