Hon. Adijat mourns late Olofin of Isheri, Oba Adebowale



THE Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo has expressed shock over the demise of the Olofin Adimula of Isheri Aworiland, Oba Nurudeen Adekanmbi Adebowale describing him as an uncommon royal father who used his throne to transform the lives of his people and his community during his lifetime.

Hon. Adijat in a personally signed statement said the monarch was a repertoire of superb wisdom, knowledge and understanding who reflected maturity in the ruling of his cosmopolitan domain.

According to the Governor’s aide, “For us in Ifo, Oba Olofin Adimula was one Oba that effectively blended the ancient cultures of our people with modernity in order to positively impact the lives of our people and community at large.

“While urging that we all take solace in the worthy life that the late monarch lived, may I use this opportunity to extend my sincere condolence to the Royal family, the good people of Isheri Olofin, Ifo LG and the State as a whole. I pray that the Almighty God grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”.

Commiserating with family members of the late monarch and the traditional council, the Special Adviser prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late monarch.
