Philanthropist, Engr. Funmi Ayinke Charges FG In Selection of Office Holders

Federal Government and concerned policymakers in Nigeria has been advised to stop being sentimental in the selection of fixing people into a key position in the country.

Prominent Ondo philanthropist, Engr.  Funmi Ayinke Waheed-Adekojo gave the charges in a media chat with Journalists in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital.

The Philanthropist who is equally the founder of Funmi Ayinke Humanity Foundation said if she have the opportunity to advise the President Muhammadu Buhari on the state of nation, she will only advice him on two things, to continue being a man of God that people know him with and to stop being sentimental.

Her words “We know President Muhammadu Buhari with his integrity, and that’s part of what makes people to vote for him because I believe people don’t vote for the party then, we voted Buhari not APC.

“APC was just lucky to have Buhari as the candidate to identify with them as their candidate, so if I am privileged to meet Buhari, I will remind him of that integrity, because a man of integrity can do exploit.

She added that “The second thing I will tell Buhari is to stop sentimental attitude, because I assume with the results we are getting that if there’s need for any responsibility, President should stop looking for Godfather to advise instead create a committee and the Committee will look for the best person to head the position instead of being sentimental that this is Hausa, this is Yoruba and all that.”

She also spoke on girls child saying that educating a girl is the best thing any country will do.

According to her “Every girl child is in a woman, and every woman is in a girl child, when you denied a girl child of proper education then you are making our environment to be toxic.

The philanthropist hinted that she has help thousands of head especially students in paying their tuition fees through her foundation.

She also revealed that she’s into a gospel music, song writer.
