Albino foundation seeks N10m support for members surgery


Ogun state Albino foundation has solicited support of N10million from Federal and State government as well as the general public  over members skin cancer bills for their surgery in Abuja

This was made known by the President of the foundation , Peace Oniere,  while narrating the association’s grievances  over loss members to cancer and their responsibilities left behind. 

Peace  lamented  the negligence of the government on  the welfare of the Albinism in the country .

She stated the effort made by the association and clarified the misconception surrounding  Albinism in the nation at large.

She urged the government to provide a  budget for the Albinism, saying most developed countries provided such. 

” We want Ogun government to embrace us we want them to adopt us just like other citizens like other states are doing , Ekiti state , Ondo even the Northern state what they do is that they have budget for Albinism , they have given them vehicle, accommodation .

Speaking,  Funmi Oshinowo said “I crash my eye with something four years ago, I monitor it but now it’s getting out of hand , Nigerians should come to my aid because I have five kids.

Also,  Olatuni Abiodun,  a business woman  , also stated that “this is what happened to my sister ,  now she is dead,  am now on the same  sickness, am begging the good people of Nigeria to come to my aid , I don’t want to die like me sister.
