The Ogun Assembly Committee on Works and Infrastructure, on Tuesday, expressed satisfaction with the level of works carried out so far on various road projects across the state.
The committee Chairman, Mr Abayomi Fasuwa, stated this shortly after members of the committee had conducted on-the-spot assessments of some roads across the state.
OgunToday reports that some of the roads inspected included: Elite-Oke Lantoro and Panseke-Adigbe roads in Ogun Central senatorial district.
Fasuwa, along with his members, also visited Ijebu Ode- Epe, Ejirin-Imowo-Eleran, Igan-Imere junction in Ago-Iwoye and Ilishan Market road in Ikenne, all in Ogun East senatorial district.
He lauded the Gov. Dapo Abiodun-led administration for its renewed commitment to infrastructural development, especially road construction, to aid human and vehicular movements.
The lawmaker added that the quality of job done by the contractors was an affirmation of the administration’s commitment to quality and competence.
Fasuwa expressed the hope that the projects would be delivered within the stipulated time by the contractors.
Responding, the contractor handling Ijebu Ode-Epe road, Amine Tawk, intimated the lawmakers that the road which, he said, was 80 percent completed, would be delivered for inauguration in May.
