Covid-19: Abiodun’s aide monitors compliance at schools


As schools resumes fully for academic activities, the Ogun state government has set up machineries to ensure compliance to covid-19 protocols across the state.

In achieving, the Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Students’ Matter, Comrade Azeez Adeyemi, has started visiting schools across the 20 local government areas to assess their levels of compliance.

During such the visits, Adeyemi reiterated the commitment of the government to the safety of students and staff of all public schools in the state.

According to him, “I engaged in another visitations to different tertiary and Public Primary Schools, to assess their level of compliance and adherence to the COVID-19 protocols and guidelines.

“Today, I visited the Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu igbo, Gateway Polytechnic, Saapade, as well as different Public Primary Schools which included Ilupeju community primary school, ita ijaiye, Obafemi Owode LG, St John’s Anglican Nursery and primary school, Ajura, Obafemi Owode LG, Ilugun Nursery and Primary School, Isara, Remo North LG where palliatives were also distributed to the pupils.

“I met with the Managements of these schools where I again emphasize on the need to ensure compliance to the NCDC guidelines.

“In the meantime, I also inspected some infrastructural projects ongoing on our campuses as well as having a discuss with leadership of the Students’ Union.

“Safety of our students remains a priority for the most students friendly Governor, hence we will be continuing this visitations across different schools in the State”.
