Ogun: Police to partner FRSC in enforcing compulsory usage of drivers’ license by motorists


Ahmed Umar,  the Sector Commander,  Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun  said the command had concluded plans to partner with the Nigeria police to enforce the compulsory usage of drivers’ license by motorists in the state. 

Umar stated this in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Friday. 
The sector commander enjoined motorists in the state to ensure they possessed valid drivers and vehicle licenses,  saying that violators would not be spared by the crack teams of the FRSC and the police in the state. 

He advised members of the public to visit or the nearest FRSC Formation on the procedure for renewal of drivers license.

“There is a strong partnership between FRSC , Ogun command and the police to enforce the mandatory possession of valid drivers license by all drivers in the state.

” The state  Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson, visited the state command of FRSC today for the renewal  of his drivers license. 

“The CP’s drivers licence was renewed and a temporary license was issued to him immediately,” he said.
