Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa, the Special Adviser to Gov. Dapo Abiodun on Tertiary Education has distributed food items to residents of Remo North local government to cushion the effect of the lockdown occassioned by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to newsmen after the donation, Odemuyiwa stated that it was important to support the state government’s effort at this period.
He called on other well meaning individuals to also support the government in giving out relief materials to the less privileged, adding that government could not do it alone but with the support of philanthropists.
He commended the governor for deeming it fit to ensure that stimulus package reached all nooks and crannies of the state.
The governor’s aide urged the citizens of the state to continue to obey the stay at home order of the government, saying that remained the best way to avoid the spread of the virus.
