The acting Chairman of the Ogun State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Akeem Bodunrin a.k.a. Iyeru, has called on Gov. Dapo Abiodun to fix roads across the state.
Bodunrin spoke to newsmen in Abeokuta at the Town hall meeting on the 2020 budget estimation organised by the state government.
The NURTW boss noted that most of the roads in the state were in a bad state, calling on the state government to do the needful as soon as possible.
He commended the governor for deeming it fit to take the town hall meeting to the three senatorial districts of the state, saying that it would enable the governor have a first hand information of the needs of the people.
“We want the governor to fix our roads , most of our roads are nothing to write home about , we appreciate the governor on the inauguration of caretaker committee for our union.
He called on the people to join hands with the governor in order to move the state forward.
“His achievements in 100 days in office speaks volume of what to expect from him. Prince Dapo knows his onions, he will bring his business acumen to bear in the running of the state,” he said.
