Primary : Kenny Bello appeals to Adekoya, other aspirants to join hands with him


Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the House of Representatives Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside federal constituency, Hon Kehinde Bello has appealed to his fellow contestants in the primary election to work with him for the victory of the party.

Hon. Bello made this disclosure today in an exclusive interview with journalists in Abeokuta.

The candidate who reportedly polled 58 votes to beat other four aspirants including the incumbent lawmaker representing the federal constituency, Hon Abdulmajid Adesegun Adekoya, the Deputy Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, said the primary election that produced him was free and fair.

He maintained that after securing the party ticket, it is expected from other aspirants to work with him so that the party can succeed in the next election.

According to Hon. Bello “I sincerely appreciated all the party faithful, delegates and all the leaders of our great party PDP for their support and prayer in ensuring that I cross the first hurdle of picking the party’s ticket.

“To my fellow contestants, I’m assuring them that I will win it together, I urged them to cooperate and work with me for our party to succeed in the general elections.

The Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside federal constituency candidate who equally believed that it was a well fought primary election said he looks forward to work with his fellow contestants so that together they can achieve the success in 2023.

He promised to ensure that dividend of democracy cuts across all nooks and crannies of his constituency
