Staffers of Ogun State Housing Corporation are undertaking training programmes to boost the efficiency and service delivery of the agency to further assist the government in bridging housing deficits in the State.

General Manager of the Corporation, ESV Wale Ojo speaking while declaring open a two-day training on strategic leadership development for the management of the Corporation held at Mokland Hotel, Ibara, Abeokuta, said the training was aimed at updating the knowledge of the management and members of staff to boost individual and organisational performance, increase job satisfaction and achieve better turnover.

“The workshop will help to sharpen the management skills and broaden their knowledge, regarding their responsibilities in the organisation.

You will agree with me that if you want to see an impressive turnover in terms of achieving your budget timely and not overshooting costs, you cannot afford not to be aware of all that you need to know to help you in that direction”, he said.

One of the facilitators, a management consultant of SILEAD, Mr. Ola Oladimeji, implored the participants to establish trust and improve their performances, in order to achieve the vision of the organisation.

He further encouraged participants to adopt what they have learned in the day-to-day activities of the agency.

Speaking on behalf of the participants, the Director ICT and Business Development, Olufunmilayo Sorounke, described the workshop as an eye opener for the management team and members of staff alike in order to lead properly and tailor their behavioural patterns to meet the needs of the corporation.
