The Nigerian Bar Association, Ilaro Branch (NBA Ilaro) has elected Chief Israel Oluwatowo Talabi as new branch Chairman.
Talabi was announced the chairman after a peaceful branch election on Friday conducted by the Electoral Committee of the NBA, Ilaro Branch ( ECNBA-I), led by Chief L.O. Ogunleye, T.S Samu Esq as Chairman and Secretary respectively .
OgunToday reports that the election took place on Friday at the Branch Secretariat in Ilaro, Ogun State.
The new executives would run the affairs of the branch for the next two years.
Other members of the newly elected executives included
Pastor Kehinde H Bamiwola as Vice Chairman, Oluwaseyi Emmanuel Enitan Esq as Secretary, David Olaoluwa Folalu Esq , Assistant Secretary and Mr Emmanuel Ademola as Treasurer.
Others are Chief Lawal Jibola Orisadare as Publicity Secretary,
Mrs.Doyinsola Adigun , Welfare Secretary and Mrs. Olayinka Bamidele as Social Secretary.
The new chairman in his acceptance speech, promised to lead the branch to a greater height and to uphold the NBA Constitution and Bye Laws by implementing programmes that would bring developmental impacts on the branch.
Talabi further canvassed the support of members for the success of the new administration, adding that it would consolidate on the achievements of the past and outgoing administration of Mr. Ayodele Omoniyi.
He noted that the date for swearing in and inauguration ceremony would be communicated to members in due course.
