The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) , South West Bloc, has disclosed members of the association who were expelled lacks civility and required decorum.
This is contained in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Wednesday by Messrs Edwin Adeniyi and Olusegun Adebiyi, Coordinating Chairman and Secretary, South West Bloc respectively.
According to the statement, the invasion of the Union National Headquarters in Yaba, Lagos on August 22 by Bola Audu Innocent and his cohorts painted the unruly canvas of lawlessness and crass display of contempt for civility and decorum.
“His shallowness of thought that forceful take over of the National Headquarters of ASCSN would have him returned to the headship of the Union was on full throttle much as his preference for gangsterism was also affirmed.
“Similar opportunistic venture was attempted back in August, 2021 at the Union annex office in Abuja.
“This unruly behaviour he had manifested severally despite the fact that the National Executive Council, (NEC) of the Association at its plenary of March 16 and March 17 2021 decided that he should step aside pending the resolution of his court cases.
“Curiously, it is him still, that has a case filed in Court against the ASCSN. Apparently, Bola Audu Innocent belongs to the class of ignoramus whose pedigree embodies sheer arrogance dipped in vainglorious self importance.
” Our candid advice to him is to address himself to the pending cases with the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, (NAPTIP) and the Nigerian Immigration Service ((NIS) for holding two National Passports of dissimilar biodata and States of Origin.
” We must equally point it out to him that his serial resort to hooliganism and thuggery portrays him as one individual whose uncultured temperament cannot hold the high office he desperately seeks,” the statement read.
In the same vein, the association reminded Mr Mutiu Oluwa Adebayo, one of Bola Audu Innocent cohorts , that he does not represent any voice of the South West Bloc of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria.
ASCSN noted that his messy handling of the Aquila Investment is still fresh in its memory, urging him to steer clear from the activities of the Union not only in Lagos State but across the entire region.
“The Association remain as one and indivisible. No amount of crude shenanigans deployed by these expelled individuals will distract our Union from continuing on the avowed mission to better the lot and improve the welfare of members nationwide.
“We reiterate our unalloyed support for the current National Leadership ably led by the National President, Comrade Etim Okon, PhD and our Secretary General, Comrade Alade Lawal Bashir.
