Mr Samson Okusanya, the Ogun State Chairman , People’s Redemption Party, (PRP), has described the sudden death of the party’s governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections, Prof. David Bamgbose as a great loss.
Okusanya stated this in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Saturday.
The party chairman noted that every member of the party were saddened by the development.
“We receive the death of our gubernatorial candidate with great shock. We are saddened about this bad development.
“Losing our gubernatorial candidate at this present time is a huge set back to us as a party.
“Nigeria, Ogun State and our party as lost another great democrat whose wealth of experience is needed at this critical time of our nation.
“We will surely miss him. We condole with the family and friends and we pray God will give the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss,” he said.
