Big Beats Records signs 3 new artists, gives back to the society

The Big Beats Records has unveiled three new talented artists namely Olarenwaju Olamilekan, popularly known as leolezy, Saheed Sabi alias Sosi and Quadri Rasheed, also known Tyrod in the record label.

Speaking after the unveiling and signing of the three artists, the Big Beats record label Chairman, Abmbola Atanda, said recruiting young talented artists was a way of giving back to the society.

According to him, the youths are just the best to consider in doing this.

“There are lots of talents out there and the only way to help the community and avoid social vices is to take away youths from vices such as drug abuse and promote their talents.

“When one or two are able to do this, then you will see that a lot of unemployed people will be taken off the streets.

“We have unveiled three of them today and we hope sometime soon,
we will unveil the last person,” he said.

On the process of selection, the chairman said the new artists were selected after rigorous auditions.

Atanda noted that before the selection, there were two different auditions for about 155 artists while the target was to pick four artists.

“Aside the recruitment exercise carried out, we also ran medical test of all the artists.

“We also got their police report to ensure that they did not have any criminal records before we signed them into our record label,” he said.

Atanda stated that it was a new beginning for the artists while pledging to train and give them the best their in.

The chairman expressed optimism that the new artists would shun out good single in few months to come.

“l believe that stars would come out from Big Beats Records.”

On his part, Temidayo Joseph, also know as Puffy Tee, Consultant to the Big Beats Records, said he was approached by the record label to bring out the best in the artists.

Joseph said his major job was to train the new artists and share his wealth of experience as well as bring the best out of them for the industry.

“You know as the industry is growing we need to move and grow with it and so many talented artists are out there yet to be discovered.

“Hence Big Beats decided to come into that area and help upcoming artists to discover their talents and to achieve their dreams,” he said.

Puffy Tee therefore, urged the new artists to bring out the best in them, remain focused and respect the terms and conditions of their contract.

Speaking, one of the newly signed, Quadri thanked God for the successful signing with the Big Beats Records.

“It has not been easy for me from 2021 but my journey so far has been destined by God and I promise to put in my best.

Also, another signee, Sabi said since he had been in Ilorin, his mind had always been in Lagos, saying that his parents were not in support of it in the beginning but they later supported him.

Olarenwaju described being an artist as tough but believed that he always had the dream to be in an audition where he would be able to showcase his talent and be discovered.

He thanked God he was part of the artists that were selected adding that the label was good for him to promote his talent.
