Awujale, Akarigbo hold joint stakeholders’ meeting on creation of Ijebu State

Oba Sikiru Adetona, Awujale of Ijebuland and Oba Babatunde Ajayi, the Akarigbo of  Remoland, would on Thursday, hold a joint stakeholders’ meeting in Ijebu Ode on creation of Ijebu State.

Mr Tunde Oladunjoye, the 

Onigegewura of  Akile Ijebu, disclosed this in a statement in Abeokuta on Wednesday.

According to the statement , the stakeholders’ forum on the proposed Ijebu State will be attended by accredited representatives of the people of Old Ijebu Province, presently known as Ogun East Senatorial District.

” Participants are expected to be seated by 10.00a.m.

” This will include traditional rulers, members of National and State Assemblies from Ogun East and Local Government Council Chairmen from Ogun East.

” Others are opinion leaders, businessmen and women,  market leaders and members of religious and community based organisations,” he said.
