Mr Gboyega Isiaka, Member, House of Representatives , representing Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency , has stated that the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu offered a pathway to transform the nation’s present challenges into opportunities.
Isiaka said this on Thursday in his new year message to the people.
The lawmaker, however, explained that the real power to effect change was not just the leadership and its policies, but in the collective will to transcend the challenges.
He noted that ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity should not be a weakness but constituted the vibrant tapestry that made Nigeria uniquely magnificent.
” As we step into the promising year of 2025, I am filled with profound optimism about our nation’s trajectory. This optimism stems from a clear-eyed assessment of our journey as a people and the remarkable resilience that defines us as Nigerians.
These are indeed trying and challenging times for our beloved nation, and it’s natural to feel overwhelmed by the weight of our collective struggles.
” However, we must remember that our story as a people has always been one of triumph over adversity. We have overcome the darkness of colonialism, the turmoil of civil war, and the struggles of nation-building.
” Our resilience over generations forms the bedrock of my unshakable belief that we will overcome today’s trials as well, and faith will guide us toward a brighter and rewarding future just as it has so many times before.
” As we face the future, let us remember that true greatness is measured by the depth of our believe; the persistence of our efforts, sincerity of our purpose, and the integrity of our core values.
” My commitment to these principles—sincerity, diligence, resilience and hard work—remains steadfast, trusting that providence will guide our path and reflect our intentions,” he said.
He urged the people of his constituency to remain hopeful, saying that every challenges encountered only served to strengthen the determination towards greater accomplishments.
He explained that Gov. Dapo Abiodun’s commitment to good governance, inclusive development, would continue to yield remarkable outcomes and lasting impact on the people.
” As we progress through this year, may our collective efforts yield abundant progress, our shared dreams find their path to reality, and our unity as a nation grow ever stronger,” Isiaka said.
