AAPOLY Plans Grand Convocation as Rector Announces Schedule of Events

All is now set for the 2nd convocation ceremony and the 12th anniversary celebration of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu Igbo, an ICT-based institution of the Ogun state government.

The polytechnic rector, Prof. Jumoke Bilesanmi-Awoderu who announced plans for the twin-event, said it will not only be a celebration of achievements but also the recognition of hard work, intellectual abilities and excellence.

The week-long event will culminate in a grand ceremony scheduled for Thursday March 22, 2018 at the institution’s multipurpose hall.

Expectedat the event is the executive governor of Ogun state, Senator Ibukunle Amosun, alongside his cabinet members as well as the crème de la crème of the state and members of the academic community drawn from across the country.

According to a lecturer in the department of Mass Communication, Mr Emmanuel Osideko who spoke with our correspondent in Ijebu-Igbo, the event will be a memorable one that will have in attendance, the former Vice Chancellor of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Prof Sabur Adejimi Adesanya who will present a public lecture on Wednesday March 21 titled technology planning: the Nigerian experience.

Also expected to be in attendance are the Royal fathers from different parts of Ogun state.
